General terms and conditions
Registrations
The registration fee is as listed on the official congress website. Registrations submitted after the deadline may be subject to a higher fee. By completing your registration, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of EEI.
Cancellation policy
- Cancellation up to 30 days prior conference beginning: full refund of the fee less a 15% administration fee
- Cancellation up to 10 days prior conference beginning: 50% of the registrations fee will be refunded
- Cancellation from 10 days prior congress beginning: is non-refundable
Cancellation of an event/conference
In the unlikely event of cancellation of the event/conference by the organizer, participants will be offered a full refund, or a credit note against an equivalent future event/conference. This refund is only valuable for registration fee and not for further expensed in connection with the congress/event.
Terms of payment
EE Impact GmbH will charge your credit card only for the registration fee and for side events, if booked. Accommodation costs are not included. EE Impact GmbH will only forward your credit card details to the hotel in case of a no-show or short notice cancellation.
Educational program / Sessions
Program content is subject to change. This does not entitle participants to a refund.
Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
No individual or entity may electronically record or broadcast any portion of EEI without prior written consent of EEI. Unauthorized recording (audio, video, still photography, etc.) of presentations during sessions without the express written consent of EEI is strictly prohibited. Press representatives must receive a Press Pass and photo/recording permission from EEI. EEI reserves the rights to any approved audio and video production of presentations at all EEI events.
Attestation
Doctors in further education, students and other groups must upload a certification of their schooling. Under the slide “addresses” you have the possibility to upload your document.
Accreditation
The organizer will inform about the accreditation on the website of each congress/event. The certification of attendance will follow by email shortly after the conference. Each participant is responsible to accredit his points on his own.
Accommodation
Several suggestions for accommodation can always be found on the congress/event website. EEI does not take any liability for the services offered at the lodging. Accommodation as well as any further costs have to be taken by the participants directly.
Parking possibilities
EE Impact GmbH will inform about parking possibilities on the conference website.
Parking fees will be need to be paid by the participant.
Wardrobe
You can leave your suitcases and further items at the registration desk / conference office. However, the organizer is not liable for any loss or damage of your items.
Damages
Every participant is liable for damages at the congress venue as well as in the hotel caused by himself.
Liability
The organizer disclaims every liability for thievery and damaging of participant’s personal items.
Consent to filming
EE Impact GmbH records and photographs its events for educational and various marketing purposes. This includes uploads to its website and social media. By purchasing a ticket for any of our events/conferences you confirm your agreement with EE Impact that:
You assign to the EE Impact GmbH the copyright, performers’ property rights and all other rights in any filming, recording or photography of you at the event for use in all media; and the EE Impact GmbH may reserve the rights to edit, adapt or translate (provided that to do so is not in any way disparaging) any filming or recording of you and you agree not to exercise any “moral rights” you may have against EE Impact GmbH (or any third parties authorised by EE Impact GmbH) in respect of any use EE Impact GmbH makes of any filming or recording of you.
If you don’t consent to EE Impact GmbH filming, recording or photographing you at the event then please notify the cameraperson or photographer at the time and email info@ee-impact.org.
Data Protection and Use of Personal Information
EE Impact GmbH processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws for the purpose of event registration, participation management and communication related to the event. For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Jurisdiction / Law applicable
Place of performance and jurisdiction is Cham, Switzerland. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law. Should any provision be or become invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Any modifications must be in written form.
Variant agreements always need to be in written form.
